About the Role

Safe Air Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to join our growing Finance team. This role will

directly support

our CFO and play a key part in

maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring the integrity of our financial statements.

We are looking for someone who not only understands the fundamentals of accounting but also thrives in a fast-paced environment where multitasking, accuracy, and initiative are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and perform account reconciliations on a recurring basis. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, including general ledger postings. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Support preparation and analysis of financial statements. Maintain documentation to support accounting entries and reconciliations. Collaborate with the CFO and finance team to improve processes and ensure timely reporting. Handle a broad range of accounting tasks as needed--this is a hands-on role, not just review work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.*
3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a smaller company setting where you've been hands-on across multiple accounting functions. Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, and how transactions flow through financial statements. Proficiency with reconciliations and financial statement preparation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with leadership.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAGE or similar accounting/ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills.

Pay: $59,781.79 - $71,995.27 per year
