Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized
Account Manager
/
Project Manager
to oversee our day-to-day financial operations and assist in coordinating construction projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounts Management
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks or similar software
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Process invoices, receipts, and payments
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Prepare basic financial reports for review
Ensure compliance with tax filings and general financial best practices
Project Management Support
Track project budgets and expenses
Assist in scheduling subcontractors and materials
Coordinate with clients and suppliers
Monitor project timelines and flag delays or cost overruns
Maintain organized digital and physical project files
Administrative Duties
Manage and organize contracts, change orders, and permits
Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members professionally
Provide general office and operational support as needed
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) is a plus
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working independently
Familiarity with construction project workflows is a plus
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, or similar)
Understanding of job costing and construction billing practices
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, or related fields
