Job Description

This position is fully remote, with required travel, based in Utah.

Job Objective:



Reporting to the VP of sales, the Account Manager - OEM & Thermoforming, is responsible for building high, wide, and deep relationships with decision makers at medical device OEMs and thermoforming converters. This role serves as the critical link between specification (OEMs) and execution (thermoformers) by driving Pacur's materials into new applications, ensuring successful commercialization, and positioning Pacur as a trusted partner across the medical device packaging value chain.

Essential Duties:



Develop and manage account relationships with OEMs at the design/specification stage and thermoformers as execution partners. Prospect new business with OEMs and converters that Pacur does not currently serve; cultivate long-term relationships to expand share of wallet. Maintain and grow existing revenue with existing customers and create an industry-leading customer experience. Identify and influence material specification opportunities early in the design process and drive them through to thermoforming execution. Collaborate internally and externally to transition projects smoothly from OEM design stage to thermoforming production. Build and maintain account plans for key customers; monitor progress toward growth targets. Negotiate and secure multi-year supply agreements with key OEMs and converter accounts as defined by management. Manage pricing adjustments, ensure compliance to internal approval processes, and monitor competitive activity. Lead sales opportunities from ideation through contract close, delivering against annual new business targets. Position Pacur as a trusted advisor on material selection, packaging design, and sustainability initiatives. Partner with finance and operations teams to monitor customer accounts receivable (DSO improvements) and influence internal process improvements to optimize customer experience. Influence internal cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Finance, Customer Service) to ensure customer needs are met and Pacur delivers a best-in-class experience. Report weekly on account status, pipeline development, and competitive insights. Travel 30-50% primarily in the U.S. and Canada, with occasional international travel. Commitment to safe work practices at Pacur and at customer sites. Actively participate in sales training and the implementation of techniques and tactics.

Note:

Position is home office-based for candidates outside of the Oshkosh area.

Minimum Qualifications:



2+ years in sales/account management or package engineering experience in 1) thermoforming/extrusion, 2) flexible packaging for medical device manufacturers, or 3) general medical packaging. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Education/Training Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in a Business/Engineering discipline required or equivalent relevant work experience

Travel Requirements:



Ability to travel up to 30-50%, mostly within the US and Canada, some travel may be required to Central America and the Caribbean

Additional Compensation:



Position is eligible for a Sales Bonus program based on performance Auto allowance Phone allowance

Base Pay: $118,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
