ABOUT THE ROLE





The Account Manager is responsible for the daily operations and performance of multiple Production Managers to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role will serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams to focus on developing long-term relationships with clients and ensure strong customer retention. In addition to client relationship management, the Account Manager will be responsible for quality control and helping drive profitability through enhancement proposals and team development, while fostering professional development opportunities.




ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS





Operational Oversight


Oversee and support Production Managers to ensure smooth daily operations and effective crew management. Assist with planning, scheduling, and logistics to maximize crew productivity and compliance with customer contracts. Adjust schedules accordingly to accommodate client needs, weather, or operational challenges. Conduct routine site visits to ensure work quality, safety, and service consistency. Ensure all work practices comply with OSHA regulations, company safety protocols, and PPE requirements. Support ongoing training for field staff on company processes, equipment use, job standards, and client expectations. Collaborate with Production Managers to ensure time keeping practices are within compliance with company policies, labor laws, and payroll processing requirements.


Client Relations & Customer Service


Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring expectations are met and issues are promptly resolved. Build and maintain strong relationships to encourage long-term client satisfaction, retention, and referrals.


Sales & Enhancements


Identify and pursue upselling opportunities through enhancement proposals that improve site aesthetics and increase revenue. Lead contract renewal discussions by evaluating previous year's performance and making appropriate adjustments to scope, pricing, or services.


Job Costing & Financial Performance


Monitor account-level financial performance using Aspire, ensuring accurate job costing, labor tracking, and budget adherence. Analyze performance data and implement strategies to improve account profitability.



ABOUT YOU




Qualifications



Minimum 3-5 years of experience in landscape maintenance, operations management, or account management within the green industry or related field. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices, seasonal services, and enhancement work. Experience with enhancement sales, contract renewals, and developing proposals tailored to client property needs. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities



Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building strong client relationships and resolving customer concerns. Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and related software.
