Job Description

We're looking to hire an Account Sales Manager to join our Commercial Landscaping Company located here in Miami, Florida.

Salary will vary depending on the individuals Experience & Work Output. We offer Compensation ranging from $80,000-$100,000 base salary + commissions on enhancement and new maintenance contract sales.

We're looking for an Account Manager who operates with an owner's mindset -- someone

who manages their book of business like a small branch. You'll own P&L performance, lead renewals and sales, and partner closely with operations to drive profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

This isn't just customer service -- it's business leadership.

What You'll Do

Client Management & Retention

- Establish and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact.

- Conduct regular site walks and customer review meetings.

- Ensure site quality and proactive issue resolution.

- Maintain a 95% client retention rate through responsiveness, reliability, and service

excellence.

- Initiate and close renewals for maintenance contracts (target 90%+ renewal rate).

Financial & Operational Accountability

- Review monthly P&L to track performance and margin health.

- Partner with operations to fix issues that affect profit (labor hours, materials, subs).

- Manage budgets, forecasts, and job costs for your accounts.

- Know the numbers behind each job and continuously improve performance.

- Hit enhancement sales goals and maintain gross margins of 45% or higher.

Sales & Growth

- Identify, propose, and sell enhancement opportunities to existing clients.

- Forecast book of business growth and track new revenue opportunities.

- Partner with operations to deliver accurate, timely proposals.

- Maintain detailed tracking of enhancement and contract sales activity.

Leadership & Coordination

- Collaborate with production teams on scheduling, pricing, and quality control.

- Communicate clearly and frequently with crew leaders and field teams.

- Support the development of site plans, seasonal color rotations, and improvement

projects.

- Ensure all administrative paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

- Maintain professional appearance and company image.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager or Manager in landscape maintenance or a related field.

- Preference for a two-year or four-year degree in landscape horticulture, or a related

field, or business.

- Knowledge of standard landscape horticultural practices is required along with a basic

understanding of hardscape and irrigation concepts.

- Proven success driving profitable growth and client satisfaction.

- Comfortable managing budgets and understanding how field performance impacts

branch profit.

- Tech savvy with landscape management software, CRMs, and Microsoft Office.

- Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

- Must be able to pass background, MVR, and drug screening.

Compensation:



- Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000

Commissions:

- 2% on new maintenance contracts (annualized revenue, paid over 12 months)

- Up to 2% on enhancement sales (minimum 45% gross margin)
