We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our manufacturing team. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and products to effectively meet client needs and company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and clients in the manufacturing sector.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, engineering, and logistics) to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue upselling or cross-selling initiatives.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, negotiating terms as needed.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic account planning.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth objectives.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status using CRM software.
Provide regular reports on account performance and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, products, and industry standards.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client portfolios.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hub Spot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients or attend industry events.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with contract manufacturing working with powder and capsule products.
Knowledge of supply chain management or procurement processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, DataNinja).
