Account Manager - Inside Sales (Onsite, McKinney, TX)
A leading provider of IT infrastructure and security solutions is seeking an Account Manager to join its Inside Sales team in McKinney, TX. This is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates must be able to commute reliably.
About the Role
You'll be the key contact for customers-guiding them through product selection, solution design, and order fulfillment. Accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism are essential.
What You'll Do

• Engage with customers by phone and email to assess technical needs and recommend solutions.
• Research products using the website and vendor portals.
• Interpret vendor specs to identify custom or non-standard options.
• Confirm pricing, availability, and details with vendors.
• Generate accurate quotes and sales orders.
• Support business development reps with quotes and order management.
• Validate purchase orders and process credit card transactions.
• Provide shipping estimates and coordinate with operations.
• Maintain CRM accuracy with follow-ups and order data.
• Work closely with customer service, warehouse, and accounting teams.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.

Your Skills & Strengths
Hard Skills

• Knowledge of sales workflows-quoting, processing, and support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and CRMs.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with cost and margin calculations.
• Familiarity with IT hardware or data center infrastructure a plus.

Pay: $45,000-$50,000 per year + $15-20k in bonuses/commission
