Job Summary:



The Account Manager will work in conjunction with Sales Consultant and Sales Manager, to develop and maintain relationships with Gravity clients with the primary focus of managing the value of these relationships to the organization. You will be responsible for building strong and long-term relationships with strategic customers and will be the liason between Management and customers to resolve customer issues. You will need to be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company's solutions and achieve mutual success.







Responsibilities and Duties:


Provide quality service based on client needs, wants, and expectations; act accordingly; remain sensitive and responsive to both internal and external clients; build distinctive predictable levels of service; resolve problems quickly and effectively Work closely with the sales team, serving as a collaborative business partner when supporting new business conversations from existing or prospective clients Identify business risks and operational challenges and take steps to mitigate risk and enhance operating systems and processes. Partner with the Sales team to ensure proper customer communication and account strategy Coordinate with the cross-functional teams, acting as the point person for gathering feedback and determining next steps Build and maintain relationships with customers through phone and in person contact. Communicate effectively, while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor. Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments Maintain business knowledge by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials and make informed, strategic recommendations to Gravity Leadership team Assist in the creative strategy development to ensure brand essence and core message communication Enhance industry expertise and thought leadership by reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Make recommendations to leadership and project leads for expanding the scope of client relationships based on observed opportunities Fill in for specimen collectors at accounts when necessary

Must be curious and able to deep dive with questions to uncover needs and provide solutions. Must be adaptable, creative, and comfortable working with ambiguity. Ability to tailor or customize responses to resolve the needs of the questions. Must have a collaborative, persistent, positive, dependable, and adaptable attitude. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent negotiation and critical thinking/decision-making skills Excellent written/verbal communication skills Ability to approach a diverse customer base and facilitate strategic communication Ability to juggle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail Ability to produce excellent work under pressure in a fast-paced environment A strong strategic thinker with exceptional business development and account management skills. Ability to be innovative and curious to share ideals and approaches. You should be a champion for change efforts to increase sales effectiveness. Ability to understand and quickly adapt business ideas to adhere to ever evolving best practices Must be able to collect specimen samples and fill in for staff as needed. Must be able to travel 75%+ with little advanced notice



Education and Experience:


BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or related field plus 5+ years relevant experience 2+ years relevant Sales Operations experience 1+ years Sales/Account Management experience preferred Phlebotomy Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Proven track record in the development and growth of new business. Confirmed ability to establish, maintain and retain loyal relationships while successfully managing service requirements of clients is critical for success in this position.


Physical Requirements:


Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift-up to 25 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to drive for extended periods of time in a variety of conditions
