, your role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and service of existing customer accounts, including quoting, purchasing, and inventory coordination to ensure accurate fulfillment and high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with customers to support ongoing projects and respond to evolving inventory requirements. Ultimately, you will collaborate with internal teams to deliver products and services that align with client needs, contribute to sales targets, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery through proactive communication, problem-solving, and relationship management
Key Tasks
Liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure production schedules align with customer demand and delivery targets.
Review and process weekly orders and customer forecasts, investigating and resolving discrepancies proactively.
Coordinate with the Purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production and inventory requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock holding and minimize discrepancies.
Investigate and address anomalies in customer demand, order fulfilment, and forecast accuracy.
Generate and maintain accurate documentation for order processing, forecasting, and customer-specific programs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date trackers for customer-specific parts, EOPS programs, and forecast documentation.
Ensure all new product and new account setup documentation is submitted, tracked, and finalized according to company process.
Support Finance by investigating and resolving short payments and customer account queries.
Coordinate cross-functional issue resolution, escalating internally when required to ensure customer satisfaction and service continuity.
Maintain up-to-date reporting documents related to margin performance, OTIF, and customer KPIs.
Contribute to customer satisfaction through proactive issue management, timely communication, and continuous service improvement
The Candidate
You will have a solid understanding of account management practices, including sales support, inventory coordination, and customer relationship management. Experience working within a manufacturing or supply chain environment would be advantageous, along with familiarity in handling customer forecasts, material planning, and procurement coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/EDI systems is essential. Dynamics D365 experience is preferred.
The successful candidate must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret customer data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical, as you will be required to build and maintain relationships across both internal teams and external clients. You will also need to demonstrate strong organizational and time management abilities, particularly when managing multiple accounts and meeting strict deadlines.
A proactive attitude is a must, along with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in order to maintain service excellence.
