We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager (AM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate ) acts as a link between external customers and internal departments for Heide & Cook. The AM nurtures the relationship between clients and company by identifying the short and long term needs of the customer. In determining the needs of the customer the company can design products or services to meet client expectations. The AM works independently as required, maintaining flexibility, responsiveness, efficiency, and effectiveness at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide short and/or long term solutions
Serve as the first contact person on matters including but not limited to proposals, contract renewals and general inquiries.
Collaborate with sales and other departments in providing account analysis by running profitability reports
Find upsell, renewal and cross-selling opportunities and inform the sales department of potential business leads
Manage customer portals to ensure information is current, accurate and timely within their KPI expectations.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of company capabilities
Resolve customer issues promptly and prevent escalation of issues
Generate and deliver proposals for equipment maintenance, repair, or replacement work as required [AT1]
Facilitates service contract renewals, escalations, adjustments, etc.
Perform other related work as assigned.
Timely Processing of work order Purchase Orders in order to invoice
Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years direct work experience in customer service, scheduling and quoting repairs in the construction/installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industry related equipment and devices.
Type 3 Hawaii Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to work with changing priorities demands and deadlines while maintaining sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Open to changing, emerging and new technologies.
Attentive to internal and external customers and clients.
