The Account Manager reports directly to the CEO. Your mission is simple: grow Aruna's wholesale footprint across Massachusetts by building strong retailer relationships, running a high-energy sales cadence, and representing Aruna + Om with excellence. This is a high-volume, high-trust role in a regulated industry where speed, organization, and consistency win.
Compensation
Base Salary:
$60,000-$65,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE):
~$90,000 annually
Structure:
Base salary + performance-based commission tied to monthly wholesale volume, account growth, retailer retention, and quarterly KPIs

Key Responsibilities
Generate, follow up with, and close new wholesale accounts to maximize lead conversion
Leverage existing buyer/procurement contacts to expand distribution across MA
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with partner retailers carrying Aruna/Om products
Support retailers with engagement events, pop-ups, and brand activations in partnership with the CEO
Own order cadence, delivery scheduling, and coordination with internal teams
Maintain expert-level knowledge of product lines, pricing, promotions, and market activity
Track KPIs, review targets quarterly, and drive continuous improvement
Maintain detailed CRM notes, logs, and territory activity
Represent Aruna with professionalism, integrity, and consistent follow-through
Required Experience & Qualifications
High-volume transactional sales background (gym memberships, ticketing, CPG, or similar)
Excellent communication skills over phone, video, and in person
4+ years selling to SMBs or cannabis retailers
Proven track record in presenting, relationship building, and closing
Strong understanding of buyer psychology and structured sales processes
Open to learning new workflows in a regulated environment
Routine-driven with strong attention to compliance
Self-sufficient and able to manage a territory independently
Highly organized; able to maintain accurate records across CRM + compliance systems
Must be 21+
Must pass a CORI background check and qualify to become a Registered Cannabis Agent
Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 75%
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and follow-through
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Ability to drive for extended periods
Travel up to 75% (minimum three days per week on the road)
Able to sit, squat, bend, and kneel as needed
Able to work in both office/remote environments and during extended computer or phone usage
Must satisfy all performance expectations for the responsibilities listed above

Must pass a CORI background check and be willing to submit personal information to become a licensed state agent
