Specific Job Functions Related to Job Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7Help deliver high-quality programs that meet and exceed client goals.

\xc2\xb7Lead the development of marketing campaigns by writing creative briefs, creating and managing production schedules, coordinating proof presentations and editing rounds with the client and managing final deliverables

\xc2\xb7Organize and, many times, lead account management activities: status report development, campaign tracking, client updates

\xc2\xb7Serve on the crisis response team monitoring client social media activity and responding to media inquiries and requests.

\xc2\xb7Build an understanding and knowledge of client business and their competitive business environments, monitor and proactively flag trends and articles relevant to client business

\xc2\xb7Research key client information including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitors

\xc2\xb7Work with team members to respond to client requests and ensure requests are taken care of in an efficient manner

\xc2\xb7Develop client content including internal and external documents, such as: social media content, talking points, fact sheets, bios, agendas, basic newsletter and website content, creative briefs.

\xc2\xb7 Pitch media across all communications channels and in multiple markets \xe2\x80\x93 local and national.

\xc2\xb7Display proficiency on social channels and support execution of social campaigns.

\xc2\xb7Display proficiency in basic management of marketing projects.

\xc2\xb7Support event execution and logistics.

\xc2\xb7Help with coordination of materials related to major communications and marketing campaigns.

\xc2\xb7When office leadership determines you are ready, begin to build preliminary proficiency as an account lead by managing activity and budgets on smaller accounts, with the support of a partner.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7A bachelor\'s degree

\xc2\xb71-3+ years of full-time prior communications work experience at either a PR/marketing agency or corporate marketing department. (Please note the 1-3 years does not include time you may have spent as an Intern while at university.)

\xc2\xb7General understanding of communications processes and strategies

\xc2\xb7Media relations / earned media experience

\xc2\xb7 Experience supporting social media strategies and campaigns\xe2\x80\x94basic design skills a plus

\xc2\xb7Ability to collaborate with team to execute successful client programs

\xc2\xb7Attention to detail

\xc2\xb7Strong writing skills

\xc2\xb7Excellent project management skills

\xc2\xb7Professional presentation skills

\xc2\xb7An attitude based in successful client service and relentless pursuit of results

\xc2\xb7Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

\xc2\xb7Strong communications skills, both oral and written (including editing skills)

\xc2\xb7Experience using Microsoft Office products
