IMCD PUERTO RICO, INC. is seeking an

Account Executive (outside sales) with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth. This role is ideal for a sales professional experienced in outside B2B sales, who thrives on closing deals, developing new markets, and delivering customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue and market share within the food and nutrition manufacturing sector. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through research, networking, and proactive outreach. Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers at manufacturing companies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and outstanding customer satisfaction. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate and close contracts to achieve and exceed sales targets. Stay current on market trends, regulations, and competitor activity to strategically position company products. Provide product education and training to customers as needed. Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM records. Other tasks as related to the position and company's needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. Bilingual - English & Spanish (required). 3-5 years of proven outside sales experience, ideally within the food, nutrition, or ingredient manufacturing industries. Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales goals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions. Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and regulatory standards (a plus).
