The

Account Director, US Agencies

supports travel agencies producing under $40M annually, specializing in a segment of Select Accounts (Enhanced, Premium, Key, Essential). Reporting to the General Manager, this role focuses on relationship management, strategic sales growth, and advisor engagement within the luxury travel sector.

This position is open to applicants in Western United States.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.Customize agency strategic plan with Virtuoso programs and benefits to support agency goals and objectives. Create a growth plan for Essential Agencies to become Select status. Monitor agency performance and provide insights to General Manager for strategic planning. Provide full-service support to a portfolio of small- medium sized agencies within the luxury travel sector. Provide access to resources and tools for operational support including reporting, data analysis, and resource coordination. Present to owner/managers and agency executives new initiatives and tools. Train agency advisors on Virtuoso products and services. Access" Subject Matter Experts" to enhance agency knowledge. Maintain strong relationships with agency owners, managers. Support communication and benefits of Tier 3 & 4 Partners to accounts. Drive communication and alignment for override achievement. Assist in onboarding new agencies and advisors, ensuring smooth integration into the network. Facilitate communication between agencies and internal departments to resolve issues and optimize performance. Coordinate training and engagement initiatives tailored to the needs of medium sized agencies. Represent the brand and uphold luxury service standards in all agency interactions.

Educational and Skills Requirements:

5+ years of experience in account management or travel industry operations Familiarity with luxury travel services and agency models Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered

Travel Requirements:

Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year). Travel will be entirely domestic.

Type/Nature of Contacts:

External: Meetings with Preferred Partners. Internal: Daily contact with Virtuoso staff.
