ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1996, and since then, we've built a small but mighty team of three dedicated professionals. My journey with State Farm began back in 1988, but my career started in a completely different field -- as a pilot -- and I still fly as a private pilot today. I also played Division III basketball and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Millikin University. Outside of work, I'm an adrenaline enthusiast who loves cycling, staying active, and spending quality time with my grandchildren. My wife used to work alongside me in the agency, which makes our business truly feel like a family endeavor.
Community is at the heart of what we do. I'm an active member of the Carmi Kiwanis Club and the Carmi Chamber of Commerce, and I stay involved locally by sponsoring events and coaching high school girls' basketball. Giving back and staying connected to the people we serve is a core part of our mission.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Dave Matheny - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers' success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
