Duties

Manage and monitor access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Verify identification credentials and issue temporary passes as needed. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV cameras to observe activity around the premises. Respond promptly to security incidents, conflicts, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques. Perform routine inspections of access points, security equipment, and perimeter fences to ensure operational integrity. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external assistance. Maintain detailed logs of access activities, incident reports, and surveillance footage for record-keeping and audits.

Skills

Strong knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and access control technology. Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills to handle tense situations professionally. Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance if needed. Experience or background in law enforcement, military service, or security operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security protocols. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external agencies.
