Nature of Work:



This position is responsible for the overall organization of uniforms and equipment for Colorado Rapids Academy Program.

Examples of work performed:

• 
  
  Maintain accurate inventory of all academy training gear, competition gear and field equipment
• 
  Issue, retrieve and maintain training gear, competition gear and field equipment on an ongoing basis
• 
  Assist in the daily field setup for training and competition
• 
  Assist in the packing and preparation for all travel
• 
  Work with Technical Director and Administrator to coordinate annual adidas and equipment order within budget guidelines

• 
  Support & assist in Rapids 2/1st Team equipment & training needs.
• 
  Travel as required
• 
  Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

Qualifications

• 
  
  Degree from accredited university in a physical education, natural science or sport management field preferred.

• 
  Material and Equipment Used:

• 
  General office equipment including copier, fax, phone, computer/keyboard, etc.
• 
  Company vehicles.

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• 
  Demonstrated high level of organizational skills
• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 
  Working knowledge of player development in the sport of soccer.
• 
  Ability to create spreadsheets and routine business correspondence using Word and Excel software.
• 
  Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task effectively.

• 
  Knowledge of professional sports team operations, public relations, and/or sponsor relations is preferred.
• 
  Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
