The International Student Exchange (ISE) is bringing its global mission to communities across Arkansas! We're searching for a friendly, community-driven individual to join our team as an
ISE Program Representative
.
If you love connecting with people and making a lasting impact on future generations, this role is for you. You'll use your local network to help pair welcoming Arkansas host families with exceptional international students from around the world--creating meaningful experiences and lifelong friendships that enrich your community.
Duties:
Recruit, screen, and qualify host families while maintaining regular contact and support.
Serve as the liaison with the local high school, ensuring students are enrolled, welcomed and taking the appropriate classes
Conduct in-home interviews and assess the safety of host family environments
Host student and host family orientations throughout the school year
Conduct monthly check-ins with students and families, including one in-person meeting every other month
Engage in outreach and networking to promote ISE and recruit host families
Maintain accurate records, complete documentation and trainings on-time and within compliance standards
Ideal Candidate:
Ability to professionally build trust and maintain confidential relationships
Interest in global cultures and community engagement
Host Parent, Study Abroad or Work and Study experience, a plus!
