The Academic Dean oversees academic operations, ensuring high-quality instruction, faculty support, student success, and compliance with institutional standards. This role provides leadership to academic staff, manages instructional quality, and collaborates with campus teams to maintain academic excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate faculty and academic staff. Oversee hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for instructional personnel. Ensure curriculum is delivered according to approved standards and instructional models. Monitor academic metrics, including attendance, retention, and completion rates. Resolve student and staff concerns and ensure appropriate follow?through. Lead academic meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with campus and organizational leaders to support academic quality and operational goals. Manage academic scheduling, resource allocation, and contribute to budget oversight.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an academic or related setting. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Experience supporting faculty and overseeing academic operations.
