Job Description

We are a converter of abrasives products. The job involves converting of raw abrasive materials into usable products for metal fabrication and is considered light assembly. There is some machine operation involved and some hand assembly involving repetitive motion. Standing or sitting is acceptable depending on the specific operation.

Lifting requirements are 40 pounds or less, with most products weighing less than 10 pounds. Must be able to read and understand associated production documentation: for example work orders, prints, etc.

This is a full-time position and requires that work directions are followed precisely, along with adhering to our employee handbook requirements. Safety glasses and some form of safety shoes are required. Safety glasses are provided free-of-charge, and $50 will be provided yearly toward safety shoes.

All production training is handled internally:

Product specific training will be handled by trained operators or the Maintenance Supervisor. OSHA training is contracted and completed on a quarterly basis.
We are a one-shift operation:

Hours are 6:30 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday Some overtime may be required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
