Position Overview
The Project Manager oversees daily custodial operations across facility building, leading a team of 18+ employees while maintaining strong customer service relationships with the client. This role requires a bilingual leader who is highly organized, proactive, and willing to step into the work when staffing shortages occur. The Project Manager is responsible for staffing, training, timekeeping, quality control, and ensuring all building expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities / Responsabilidades Principales
Leadership & Operations Management
Oversee daily operations for 18+ custodial staff across assigned buildings.
Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, professionalism, and responsiveness.
Conduct regular building inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure staff understand expectations and priorities.
Provide hands-on support and fill in for staff when needed to maintain service levels.
Manage timekeeping, attendance, and schedule adjustments.
Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for new and existing employees.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements.
Perform occasional weekend visits to check on key staff and building conditions.
Customer Service / Servicio al Cliente
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client.
Address concerns promptly and professionally.
Communicate staffing updates, project needs, and building expectations clearly.
Build trust through transparency, follow-through, and consistent service delivery.
Clean buildings by emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
Monitor building security by locking doors and ensuring appliances are safely turned off.
Use cleaning chemicals properly and follow SDS guidelines with required PPE.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools.
Dust furniture and scrub surfaces as needed.
Clean and service restrooms using proper disinfectants.
Arrive on time and complete assigned work within scheduled hours.
Identify and report equipment repairs or maintenance needs.
Cross-train on additional duties as assigned.

Limpiar los edificios: vaciar basura, aspirar, barrer, trapear y limpiar superficies asignadas.
Supervisar la seguridad del edificio cerrando puertas y verificando el uso de electrodomesticos.
Usar adecuadamente soluciones quimicas siguiendo las SDS y usando el EPP requerido.
Limpiar ventanas, particiones de vidrio y espejos con herramientas adecuadas.
Desempolvar muebles y tallar areas hasta que queden limpias.
Limpiar y dar servicio a los banos con desinfectantes apropiados.
Llegar a tiempo y completar el trabajo asignado dentro del horario establecido.
Identificar e informar reparaciones necesarias en equipos.
Entrenar en otras tareas segun lo asigne el Supervisor.
Qualifications / Calificaciones
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
2+ years of supervisory or project management experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Comfortable performing custodial tasks when needed.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekends.
* Knowledge of SDS, PPE, and custodial safety standards.
