Milton Town School District is seeking a dynamic .5 FTE High School English teacher to be an integral part of an innovative team designed to meet the needs of high school students. The candidate will possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, is strongly committed to the success of all students, understands the value of collaboration, and is ready to collaborate with a team that includes other English teachers and team teachers.English teacher candidates are encouraged to have high school experience and be knowledgeable in effective instruction and school improvement practices at the high school level, along with familiarity with grades 11 and 12, including an interest in Advanced Placement classes such as AP Literature and AP Language and Composition. The ideal candidate has working knowledge and experience with implementing Restorative Practices as strong components of classroom student management. Given the special education shortage, we are looking to hire regular teachers to provide specially designed instruction.

The teachers would not have their own classroom/course assignments.
