We are seeking a dedicated and personable 3rd Shift Server to join our professional dining team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service during overnight hours, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our patrons. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with fine dining and food industry standards is preferred, along with proficiency in various POS systems. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience during the overnight shift
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously
Support other restaurant operations such as host/host duties or food preparation as needed during the shift
Skills
Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
Ability to upsell menu items effectively and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during overnight hours
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with food industry operations such as serving, bussing, or host/host duties is advantageous
Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
