PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES






Empty tomato paste or tomatoes into the ribbon blender and transfer to the proper paste tank Operators must follow instructions to achieve desired brix standards Open lids on paste bins to prepare for blending Keep proper records on paste Dumper sheets and account for all bins used Keep extractor and areas clean at all times Break down wooden bins and stack wood. Tag with appropriate supplier paper Sweep paste dock area Know how to drive a forklift Adhere to all Red Gold policies, rules, and regulations, including GMP's and safety Work as a team player with members of the crew and others in the plant



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE






High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience Must be able to understand and carry out instructions while performing manual labor related tasks Must be able to successfully use basic math and writing skills necessary to complete the required paperwork



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES






Good Communication Skills Accurate Detail oriented Able to handle pressure Able to work well with others Multi-task oriented On the job training regarding the operating equipment, work processes, quality standards, and safety procedures related to the position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS






Sitting- Forklift Operation (training provided) Standing- to complete all tasks Walking Climbing- Must be able to climb stairs or ladders Reaching- to perform activities, to get tools Kneeling- to perform work activities at low levels Squatting Bending/stooping- to pick up tools or parts, to perform work tasks at lower levels or inside a machine Twisting- to perform work activities Pinch- to use tools, to manipulate wires Grasping/handling- using tools, manipulating parts Must be able to operate basic electrical switches Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis
