In accordance with the Gaming Ordinance, all non-gaming employees whose annual income reaches $50,000 or more will be required to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Responsibilities
:
Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained.
Reconcile currency from blackjack tables.
Maintain cleanliness of the count room and storage areas.
Maintain acceptable attendance record and punctuality.
Wear an approved departmental uniform.
Work with minimum supervision.
Collaborate with security officers during collection procedures.
Remove drop boxes and secure boxes on cart.
Secure cart in the count room.
Sort and count currency, coin, tickets, and coupons.
Operate currency counting equipment.
Report suspicious activity to supervisor and/or Security Department.
Maintain confidentiality of count room totals.
Adhere to all established rules, regulations, and policies.
Maintain compliance with drug and alcohol-free workplace policy.
Adapt to changes in duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications & Education
:
High School Diploma or GED Required, if you are 19 years old and under.
Courteous and friendly demeanor.
Basic math skills required; may be tested.
Prior money handling experiences helpful.
Professional demeanor always.
Ability to obtain and maintain gaming license.
Criminal Investigation Background Check required.
Pass pre-employment drug screening and health screening.
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
Willingness to adapt to change and attend training.
Satisfactory working record in prior/current employment.
Eligible for employer's liability insurance.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Work Conditions
:
Frequent standing, walking, talking, and hearing.
Use of hands for handling, reaching, grasping, and finger dexterity.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; push/pull up to 50 pounds with a cart.
Close, distance, peripheral, color vision, and depth perception required.
Work in a casino setting with higher noise level and cigarette smoke.
Early mornings, weekends, extended hours, and irregular shifts required.
Excellent personal hygiene required due to proximity to others.
The work environment is nonsmoking, noise level varied, and dust-free.
