About the student

3rd grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for ESL. Her first language is Mandarin so the family is asking for a tutor who is bilingual in Mandarin & English. The student just moved from China and is needing assistance learning to communicate in English for her daily life. She needs to start from the foundations. The goals are for the student to be able to have conversations in English and improve her ELA skills. Family wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week during their available times. They are available Monday through Friday from 4pm-9pm as well as Saturday & Sunday from 10am-6pm. Family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Cumberland.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary students with ELA skills/ESL. Ideal candidates will be fluent in both Mandarin & English. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.

Student Availability

MON-FRI: 4:00pm-9:00pm

SAT & SUN: 10:00am-6:00pm
