Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Car Hauler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently from one location to another. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of trailers and a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. This position requires excellent route management skills and the ability to operate different types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles.

Duties

Safely load and unload vehicles onto the transport trailer, ensuring proper securing methods are used to prevent damage during transit. Operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck to transport vehicles over designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or issues encountered during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Provide exceptional customer service during vehicle drop-off and pick-up processes.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in truck driving, particularly with tanker, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or freight transportation is preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission operation is a plus. Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate various terrains and weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all aspects of vehicle handling. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a car hauler or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $1,300.00 - $3,500.00 per week
