Transfer Car

Operator

with

Liberty Packaging,

you will contribute to the growth of our business by being a key player in safely moving goods and materials around a high traffic industrial environment. As a Transfer Car Operatoryou will help maximize efficiency of the production process by safely operating mobile equipment to move roll stock from train cars and/or trucks, manage raw materials, accurately scanning inventory in and out of the business, and safely stock rolls according to procedure. Corrugator Supervisor

at our Liberty Packaging location in Golden Valley, Minnesota.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate mobile equipment such as clamp truck, forklifts, lift trucks, hoists, or other material handling equipment in a high traffic industrial environment Accurately utilize an electronic scanning system to include a touch screen monitor located on the forklift, to track inventory levels and product location Responsible for regularly completing pre-operation inspection and reporting equipment faults or damages to leadership or maintenance Move roll stock from train cars and/or trucks, manage raw materials, accurately scanning inventory in and out of the business, and safely stock rolls according to procedure. Follow safety regulations and company guidelines Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution or comparable experience in place of education. 2+ years experience operating mobile equipment Previous experience with a computer using skills such as typing, printing and data entry Ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read work instructions to identify detailed steps for order completion Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Previous roll clamp truck operation Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks Knowledge of distribution documentation: pick lists, packing slips, and bills of lading Knowledge of warehouse organization, workflow as well as basic inventory control (I.e.: Amtech) Previous experience with reading a tape measure

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting pay rate for this position is $25.97 per hour plus hourly shift differential pay.
