SUMMARY:
The Director is responsible for the specific assigned leadership, management, and direction of campus services and supports. Coordination of personnel assignments, academic and service models, fiscal responsibility, community relations, and resources that are essential areas of administration. Works collaboratively with community partners to implement programs and practices for the purpose of student achievement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Works collaboratively to assist with establishing goals, objectives, and action steps for the purpose of continuous improvement.
+ Establishes and executes organizational systems and strategies to monitor District goals.
+ Reports results of improvement plan effectiveness and District goals.
+ Assists in communicating expectations, providing support, managing the results, and supporting the day-to-day functions of teams and/or programs assigned.
+ Develops and monitors strategies for high-level collaboration amongst staff.
+ Communicates effectively and maintains a positive disposition in all circumstances to ensure an outcome that promotes student academic achievement, staff professional development, and District-wide success.
+ Engages in professional learning to enhance his/her knowledge and skill.
+ Helps design and participates in school and/or District professional development activities to improve District practices.
+ Implements systems of leadership, support, and guidance for school and District personnel.
+ Assists in recruiting, selecting, orienting, evaluating, and training employees.
+ Plans and maintains program and/or team budgets within budgetary parameters.
+ Completes other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines:
+ Possess Master's degree in education or education support related field, or an equivalent.
+ Have five (5) years as a classroom teacher preferred, or five (5) years job related experience field for non-academic manager positions preferred.
+ Have three (3) years of supervisory experience.
+ Have experience in facilitating employee groups for implementation of initiatives or programs preferred.
+ Have knowledge of and experience with school personnel and division related laws, policies and procedures.
License and Certification Requirements:
+ A current Arizona Administrative Certificate
+ Possess a valid Arizona State Driver's License
+ Possess a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
