Anchor Within Counseling is an outpatient group practice looking for associate therapists to join our radical & relational team. We offer racially-specific and culturally-specific services to everyone, and prioritize care to the Black and Brown community. We are currently hiring for part-time and full-time therapists.

Anchor opened it's doors in the fall of 2015. We serve individuals, families, and the community primarily with psychotherapy services. We host group forums and workshops centered on family healing and community growth. Our services are rendered through a holistic approach and with evidence-based practices. We prioritize the care of historically marginalized racial/cultural populations in the field of social service and mental health care. Our purpose is rooted in stimulating healing that is anchored in lasting, long-term change.

Mental Health Therapist

Part-Time

Responsibilities

Conduct individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, narrative, emotion focused therapy, family systems. Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care. Complete risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support, as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Stay informed about current research and best practices for behavioral health.

Qualifications

Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field Valid Oregon license/certification to deliver mental health care

Culturally-Specific Skills Desired

Knowledge and ability to serve Black/African, Latino/Hispanic, and/or Native/Indigenous populations from a racial trauma lens Knowledge and ability to serve clients who ascribe to religious/spiritual beliefs as protective factors
