Description:

Warrensville Heights Peer Tutors provide targeted Math and ELA intervention for students, utilizing Warrensville Heights High School juniors and seniors as peer tutors delivering small-group and one-on-one instruction for up to 10 hours per week.

Job Summary:

Warrensville Heights Peer Tutors Program is a targeted intervention initiative designed to address academic needs in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) for elementary, middle, and high school students. This program leverages the skills and leadership of current Warrensville Heights juniors and seniors, who will serve as Tiger Tutors to provide small-group and one-on-one, standards-based instruction. The program focuses on remediation and skill-building in ELA, writing, and mathematics for students identified as needing additional support.

Peer tutors will work up to 10 hours per week, fostering a collaborative and relatable learning environment that enhances academic performance and confidence for younger scholars.

This program will run after school for the remainder of the school year.



$12.00/hour

Qualifications:

Must be a Warrensville Heights High School student and eligible for the program.
