Job Summary


As a 2 Year Old Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of our youngest learners. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your expertise in early childhood education will guide the development of engaging curricula and activities tailored to meet the unique needs of toddlers. You will collaborate with parents and staff to ensure each child thrives socially, emotionally, and academically.

What you'll do



Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, and physical education through hands-on activities. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and supports childhood development. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly. Communicate openly with parents about their child's development, providing insights and strategies for continued learning at home. Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse needs through early intervention strategies. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that reflects a welcoming atmosphere for both children and families. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience



Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other progressive teaching philosophies is preferred. Experience in behavior management strategies that promote positive child interactions. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures as they relate to early childhood education is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is required; additional certifications in special education or tutoring are a plus.
