Cut-Off Operator (1st Shift)

What You'll Do

Operate modern single-spindle, lathe-type cut-off machines to produce tube or solid bar stock. Set up tooling, feed tubes, and collets to match print specifications. Use micrometers, calipers, and blueprints to verify exact length, chamfer, and groove dimensions. Inspect, deburr, and package finished pieces for the next operation. Follow all safety protocols, PPE use, and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Record production data accurately in real time and partner closely with your team lead and supervisor.

What You'll Bring

Prior experience operating manual or semi-automatic lathes or cut-off machines. Comfort with math using fractions and decimals. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Focus, stamina, and a genuine commitment to safety and quality. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and cross-train.
