Our client, a top-tier aerospace manufacturer is seeking skilled CNC VTL and Manual Lathe Machinists to join their 1st shift team and 2nd shift. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Experience in machining plasma coatings and K/E seals on rotating aircraft parts Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of GD&T
Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Willing to learn basic CNC Programming Is your expertise different from the above?
Set-up and operate VTL or Lathe machines for pre-machining and finish machining for required operations or the repair of aircraft parts.
Work from process traveler, blueprints, parts drawings, manuals, specifications, operations sheets and verbal directions to determine proper dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements for machining functions
Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier
Work with engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of part, tool pressure, etc. as required
What You'll Bring:
2-5 years of experience machining in an aerospace environment
Experience as an FAA Repairman or A&P Mechanic highly desirable
Proficiency with Fanuc controls and willingness to cross-train
Strong math skills and knowledge of GD&T
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Willingness to learn basic CNC programming
High school diploma or equivalent required

Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $728,000.00 per year
