Avionics Technician - Guntersville, AL

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Avionics Technician to join our team in Guntersville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in avionics maintenance, particularly within military aviation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Military Avionics Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in avionics maintenance, with a background in U.S. Army MOS 15N (Avionics Mechanic), 15F (Aviation Operations Specialist), 15T (UH-60 Helicopter Repairer), or 15G (Aircraft Structural Repairer).

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience with heavy wiring, system troubleshooting, and component-level repairs is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Avionics System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform in-depth diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems, ensuring compliance with military and FAA standards.

System Modifications & Upgrades:

Lead the installation and integration of advanced avionics systems, such as glass cockpits and autopilot systems, on UH-60 aircraft, adhering to technical manuals and engineering specifications.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, modifications, and inspections, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements and supports airworthiness certification.

Pay: $88,000.00 per year
