The first Almost Famous store was opened in Fargo, ND in West Acres Mall in 2003! Our first location carried items such as clothing, music cd\xe2\x80\x99s, assorted gift items, skateboards, and shoes. In 2005, we became Almost Famous Body Piercing and decided to focus solely on body piercing! Since then we have added 6 more locations in St. Cloud, Mall of America, Northeast Minneapolis, and then in Mankato all in Minnesota. That\xe2\x80\x99s when we decided to expand out of state and added a location in Champaign, Illinois and then in Billings, Montana. As our business has developed, so has our infrastructure. We have added two Piercing Central Training Center locations so that we are able to train our staff in everything from First Aid to CPR and from bloodborne pathogens to body piercing. We also have our own central warehouse which processes and ships jewelry and supplies to all of our locations each week.

Upon hire, everyone starts at a clerk position which gives you a chance to learn all there is to know about body jewelry, body piercings, customer service, and all things Almost Famous! *This position in particular is for someone that is ready to begin body piercing right away. Training is provided but the cost of licensure is required by employee. Experience in body piercing is also not required. We work diligently with you to make you one of the best in the industry!* Job Summary -Customer service including ringing up sales, helping customers pick appropriate jewelry for their piercings, aftercare sales, and piercing paperwork.
-Maintain the highest level of customer service.
-Responsible for monitoring the overall functions of the store including all equipment, fixtures, and inventory and reporting all problems to Shift Leader.
-Keeping store immaculate and orderly.
-Prompt and dependable attendance.
-Helping to keep store morale and culture positive. Minimum Requirements
-Must be 18 or older
-Must have High School Diploma
-HepB Titre test results and HepB Immunization records required upon hire.
