8 weekly hours must be Monday through Thursday afterschool during program hours
Maximum of 108 programmatic days (216 hours) from the start of program which must start no later than October 15th
8 hours pre-planning, plus 2 days 5 hours of pre-program training
$35/hour for certified teachers, Hourly wage will be adjusted accordingly for those not holding a professional teaching certificate

POSITION
: Project ISAAC After School ELA Teacher
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR
: Project ISAAC Director and/or Site Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ WV Teaching Certification preferred or currently enrolled in a student teaching program
+ Experience teaching ELA for grades K-8 preferred
+ Title I reading experience preferred
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
+ Basic computer skills
+ Good organizational skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develop and deliver a site-based re-teach and review program for identified students in ELA, based on available classroom performance records, West Virginia 21st CCLC / West Virginia College and Career Readiness Standards, and evaluation data
+ Develop hands-on reading lessons relating to the 21st CCLC / West Virginia College and Career Readiness Standards and Objectives, character education, and service learning
+ Maintain and submit lesson plans and tutoring logs as required
+ Maintain and submit student records for attendance, participation, and progress as required
+ Submit progress reports to parents, school, and site coordinator
+ Attend staff meetings and training as required
+ Assist with programs planned for family members of ISAAC students as required
+ Other duties as assigned by the Project Director and / or designee )
